Ride the 2019 Tour de France with Digme, 28th July

July 16, 2019 by HelloFitty Leave a Comment

If you’re training for a cycling event, want to improve your endurance or are simply up for a beasting, Digme’s Perform Plus class is guaranteed to test your pedal power.

Tour de France with Digme

One of the gym’s more technical concepts, Perform Plus focuses on specific goals using a sophisticated data system.

Throughout the month of July, Digme is hosting Tour de France themed Perform Plus classes designed to push boundaries and help you achieve your goals.

Digme’s world class instructors, Paul, Laura and Gareth will be taking brave riders through three stages of the tour.

STAGE ONE – 6 – 12 JULY

Pau – Pau

This stage is an individual time trial. It is divided into two parts – the first contains a few climbs and the second rolls all the way to the finish back in Pau. Riders competing for the King of the Mountains title have the chance to gain points on the climb to the top of Medout.

STAGE TWO – 13 – 19 JULY

Saint Jean-de-Maurienne – Tignes

This stage is short but intense, ideal for King of the Mountains contenders. There are five climbs, finishing with a 7.4km at over 7 per cent ascent to Tignes. Riders can pick up points for the Green Jersey competition during the intermediate sprint in the middle of the stage.

STAGE THREE – 20 – 26 JULY

Embrun – Valloire

This exceptional stage contains a trio of classic Tour de France Climbs – Col d’Izoard, Col du Galibier and Col de Vars. With an early intermediate sprint for the Green Jersey contenders, there is all to play for before the speedy descent to the finish in Valloire.

More Information

Digme is also hosting an epic Tour de France Special Event on Sunday 28th July from 1pm-4pm at the Rathbone Square studio – a 140 minute class followed by a post workout party and screening of the Tour de France finale.

2XU, the world’s leading compression wear brand, is the brand partner of this event and will be offering prizes to top riders.

Head to Digme’s website to book your place now as spaces are limited.

See you in the peloton.

My name is Harriet and I am a freelance journalist and health and fitness PR living in London. I’m currently training to be a L3 Personal Trainer to improve my own fitness and hopefully pick up some classes one day! My favourite gym is Digme, especially their Matrix class, which combines treadmill, weights and HIIT. Say hello @harrietosborne on Instagram.
